Expatriate residents in the United Arab Emirates holding a valid residence visa can sponsor their dependents (spouse, children, and under specific guidelines, parents) subject to meeting statutory minimum salary thresholds and housing standards.

Statutory Eligibility Criteria

  • Minimum Salary: AED 4,000 per month gross, or AED 3,000 plus company-provided accommodation documented on your MOHRE contract or official salary certificate.
  • Housing Verification: Registered Tenancy Contract (Ejari in Dubai or Tawtheeq in Abu Dhabi) reflecting adequate accommodation for the family unit.
  • Medical Fitness: Dependents aged 18 and older must undergo and pass government medical fitness examinations for communicable diseases.
